According to The Hollywood Reporter, her daughter, actress Laura Dern, announced the sad news. The cause of death is still unknown.
“My incredible hero and priceless gift – my mother – died on the morning of 3/11 in her home in Ojai, California, with me by my side. She was the most wonderful daughter, mother, grandmother, actress. We are very lucky to have her. Now she flies with her angels,” she wrote.
