The actress says that she dreams of acting in historical films.

In an interview with the “Gossip of the Great City” project, the 40-year-old actress said that she is not invited to shoot in such films, arguing that she is “too modern.” The woman noted that she did not understand this argument, as she had already had a similar experience:
“Ukrainian cinema doesn’t really like my appearance, because I’m too beautiful, too bright for them. I recently said to my friend: “Why aren’t they taking me for this historical picture? Why didn’t you even call me to audition?” And he: “You’re too modern, you can’t act in a historical film.”
Another director told Salivanchuk that she can act in historical films, but she needs to choose roles, because she “doesn’t exactly have a Slavic type.” “Sometimes it offends me, to be honest,” added the actress.
