And Ukraine has to express these counter -proposals. Then the two parties (if the positions get closer) discuss with each other (possibly on intermediary) decisions. And then there is a promotion of the negotiation process, not the other way around.

1. Formation and consolidation of a common negotiation position of Ukraine with European partners. The transition of initiative and more responsibility for European security to European countries, including the issue of Ukraine’s security guarantees.
2. Leaving the US in the negotiation process. Or minimizing the consequences of public announcement of their exit from the mediation role.
3. Creating conditions for negotiations that would bring a real result and long -term peace. And this is possible only when creating additional pressure on the Russian side, which will not change its approaches without this pressure.
These are all understandable things, but not seemed wishes, not Wishfull Thinking. This is a way to prevent catastrophes!
