The former prosecutor from the Kherson region was informed of suspicion of treason for voluntary cooperation with occupation structures and rapid career growth in illegal authorities.
Prosecutors of the General Inspection of the Office of the Prosecutor General established that the suspect, while working in the prosecutor’s office of Ukraine, deliberately went over to the side of the enemy in temporarily occupied Kherson in July 2022.
He began his activities for the benefit of the Russian Federation as a leading specialist in the so-called tourism department, later headed a department in the pseudo-ministry, and in November 2023 became the first deputy of the so-called Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Kherson region. For committing treason under martial law, the person involved faces life imprisonment with confiscation of all property.
