Former Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki has denied showing his Wikipedia page to get into a Donald Trump rally on Sunday, the day before the US president’s inauguration. Moravetsky recorded a video in which he said that on that day in Washington the streets were blocked and he was looking for a free way.
– I myself approached the guards or soldiers to ask for directions. They asked where I was going. I said at the interview. They asked who I was. I said that I am a member of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, former prime minister, chairman of the European Conservatives and Reformists. I didn’t have any badge, so I was asked to confirm. They showed me the way. This is the whole truth, he said.
Former spokesman for Prime Minister Morawiecki Piotr Mueller, now a member of the European Parliament, also wrote in his X account that the politician had scheduled meetings that day, including an interview.
– Half of Washington is closed, so he asked the security guard for directions, because the organization of traffic has changed, – he assured.
Earlier, X published a video in which ex-Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki allegedly shows his Wikipedia page in order to get to Capital One Arena. The National Guard stated that Moravetsky “has no pass, nothing.”
