The European Union allocated funds for free lunches for Ukrainian schoolchildren

“This initiative, part of the €150 million recovery package, ensures improved nutrition, food security and stability for children in times of war,” the EU mission said in a statement.

The reform of the school food system involves significant changes in the menu for students. In particular, there will no longer be such dishes as sausages in school canteens, but more healthy food will appear.
