The European Commission agreed to allocate 4.1 billion euros to Ukraine within the framework of the Ukraine Facility support program.

This was reported by the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal.

“The EC gave a positive assessment to the reforms and noted that the Government has fulfilled the necessary indicators for receiving this tranche,” he said.

According to him, the government is counting on the quick approval of the decision by the Council of the EU. After that, the total amount of support within the Ukraine Facility for 2024 will amount to 16.1 billion euros.

Ukraine Facility – the EU support program for Ukraine in the amount of 50 billion euros will operate from 2024 to 2027.

In May, the Council of the European Union adopted a plan for Ukraine, necessary for the implementation of the Ukraine Facility program in the amount of 50 billion euros.

In general, financial assistance from the EU in 2024, it will reach 16 billion euros, of which 3 billion euros are grantsthe Ministry of Finance of Ukraine calculates.

The plan for the Ukraine Facility provides for 69 reforms, for which more than 150 quarterly performance indicators and 16 investment indicators are responsible. In the third quarter, Ukraine fulfilled eight out of nine indicators.
