Details: European Commissioner Dombrovskis emphasized that in 2025 Ukraine will receive EUR 35 billion in financial aid from the EU.

“The EU provides (Ukraine) with financial support through the G7 ERA credit initiative and the Ukraine Facility in the amount of 35 billion euros for 2025,” he wrote after meeting with First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyridenko in Davos.

Valdis Dombrovskis also added that with Svyridenko they “discussed expansion and steps aimed at getting closer to the EU Single Market.”

We will remind you that earlier Yulia Svyridenko reported that Ukraine expects to receive 12.5 billion euros from the EU in 2025 as part of the Ukraine Facility.

The G7 Extraordinary Revenue Acceleration (ERA) initiative is funded by frozen Russian assets.

The Ukrainian government expected that the EU share in the G7 ERA would amount to 18.1 billion euros.
