The Council of the EU indicated that the financing is mainly aimed at strengthening the macro-financial stability of Ukraine and supporting the continuous work of its state administration.
In the spring of 2024, the Council of the EU adopted the plan for the Ukraine Facility, which determines the intentions of the government of Ukraine regarding the recovery, reconstruction and modernization of the country, as well as the reforms it plans to implement within the framework of the EU accession process over the next four years.
The program provides stable financing in the form of grants and loans in the amount of up to 50 billion euros for the period from 2024 to 2027.
