The EU continues to work on a military assistance package of Ukraine – a spokeswoman for the European Commission Hipper

The European Union does not stop the preparation of a new multi -billionaire military assistance package for Ukraine, which should include air defense and ammunition systems on the proposal of EU representatives from Kaya Callas Foreign Affairs.

Details: The EU spokeswoman informed that the Callas Initiative for Military Aid to Ukraine, which provides for the provision of air defense systems, missiles to them, and ammunition is relevant and is in the preparation process.

“Discussions are ongoing to ensure that Ukraine will be strong, that we will provide ammunition that we will provide air defense systems and everything we really need Ukraine,” Hipper said.

She left unanswered as to whether the Callas project will be ready by the beginning of the regular meeting of the European Council on March 20-21.

“This will be discussed,” the EU spokeswoman said.

She recalled that “Ukraine is a priority for a high representative.”

“During these 100 days, she (Callas) has made all the energy and efforts in the negotiations, whether on sanctions against Russia with 16 sanctions, or on support of Ukraine, as stated in her initiative on military assistance,” Anita Hipper recalled.

• On March 6, the European Council called on the EU Council to accelerate the work on the EU’s High Representative in Kai Callas Foreign Affairs to approve new multi -billion dollar military assistance package to Ukraine from the European Union.
• The EU Diplomacy Head has stated that after negotiations in Jeddy, Russia should demonstrate its readiness to reach peace.
