The enemy shelled the Kupyan region again: three were killed and four were wounded

Under the procedural leadership of the Kupyan District Prosecutor’s Office of the Kharkiv Region, pre-trial investigations into the facts of war crimes have been initiated (Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

This is reported by the Office of the General Prosecutor of Ukraine.

According to the investigation, on December 19 at around 3:10 p.m., the armed forces of the Russian Federation launched a rocket attack on a residential quarter in the village of Shevchenkove, Kupyan district.

Two women and a man died. Three more people were injured.

At least 12 residential buildings were damaged. It was preliminarily established that the Russian troops hit the settlement with an “Iskander-M” missile.

Also, at approximately 15:10, the enemy attacked the village with an FPV drone. Biennial of the Kupyan district. A 54-year-old woman was injured.

Prosecutors and police investigators are taking all possible and appropriate measures to document war crimes committed by the Russian military.

We remind you that on December 18, the enemy made an attempt to expand the bridgehead near the Oskil River. Two convoys of equipment went in two directions, but they were stopped by Ukrainian defenders.
