In the educational application “Dream” for Ukrainian schools, the first tool based on artificial intelligence became operational. Now teachers can quickly create assignments and quizzes for students and even check their answers. The function is already working in 150 schools and has helped generate more than 4,000 tasks, it is reported Ministry of Digital Transformation.
“The first AI-based functionality – a test generator – has started working in the state educational ecosystem “Mriya”. The tool allows you to create tasks in a matter of minutes,” explained the Ministry of Digital Transformation. To generate a test, the teacher just needs to choose a topic in the calendar, and the AI itself will select the questions. More than 1.3 million textbooks, that is about 300,000 pages from 30 subjects, were uploaded to the system for the high-quality formation of tasks.
In addition to creating tests, artificial intelligence helps to check completed tasks. “After the students complete the tasks, the AI analyzes the answers and offers a grade that the teacher can confirm or change. To ensure the fairness of the evaluation, we have implemented anti-cheating: during the test, it is impossible to take a screenshot or copy the text,” the Ministry of Digital Affairs noted.
Today, the function is already available for 150 schools, and teachers managed to generate more than 4 thousand tasks. It will soon be implemented in 500 more institutions, and over time, all schools connected to “Mriya” will be able to use AI.
