The DPSU stopped crossing the border and explained it as a malfunction in the database

In the afternoon of November 8, the State Border Service of Ukraine announced the temporary suspension of border crossings.

“The reason for the stoppage of the checkpoints at the state border was a malfunction in the customs database. Therefore, registration of citizens and vehicles for entry into Ukraine and exit from Ukraine is temporarily not carried out. Please take this information into account when planning your trip,” the message reads.

The State Border Service does not specify when they plan to resume crossing the border.

Changes to the border crossing procedure for men aged 18 to 22, which allow them to travel abroad without hindrance, came into effect in Ukraine today
