In the currency exchange offices of Kyiv, the dollar today decreased by 5 kopecks and is 41.73 hryvnias/dollar on average (you can sell a dollar for 41.65 hryvnias). The exchange rate of the cash euro increased by 2 kopecks and is 46.62 hryvnias/euro (selling rate – 46.45 hryvnias/euro).
Exchange rates in Ukraine – the latest newsOn Friday, September 20, the National Bank of Ukraine set the official exchange rate of the dollar to the hryvnia at the level of UAH 41.44/dollar. Thus, the hryvnia strengthened by 1 kopeck compared to the previous indicator. The official exchange rate of the NBU for the euro on Friday is set at 46.24 hryvnias/euro, i.e. the hryvnia has decreased by 13 kopecks. This indicator became a new historical high for the euro.
According to the forecast of the head of the treasury department of “Globus Bank” Taras Lesovoy, no significant exchange rate changes should be expected on the currency market until the end of September. He noted that the expected exchange rate on October 1 is unlikely to be higher than UAH 41.3/dollar, that is, compared to August, the devaluation in September will be up to 0.6%.
