“The gradual devaluation of the hryvnia continues. This frightens the population, which, in response to such developments, has maintained a negative trend of currency purchases exceeding its surrender in all segments – from cards to cash transactions through bank cash desks and exchange offices of financial companies,” he noted.
Kozyrev is sure that money changers of financial companies and bank branches, which work this weekend, will continue to work in the format “from turnover” with a spread level of 20-25 kopecks per dollar and 20-40 kopecks per euro.
Dollar exchange rate in Ukraine on September 23As a reminder, the National Bank of Ukraine set the official exchange rate of the dollar to the hryvnia at the level of UAH 41.35/dollar on Monday, September 23, thus the hryvnia strengthened by 9 kopecks.
And the official exchange rate of the NBU for the euro on Monday was set at 46.15 hryvnias/euro, i.e. the hryvnia increased by 9 kopecks.
