Police investigators exposed a deputy of the Dnipro city council, who issued a fictitious business trip and rested on an island in Greece for more than two weeks.

Details: According to the report, in June 2023, the deputy, who simultaneously heads the district administration of the city, made a business trip to Hungary for official meetings. However, after crossing the border, he went to Austria, and later to the Greek island of Rhodes. The deputy spent more than two weeks there with his family on vacation.

The police conducted four searches at the deputy’s place of residence and work — in the Dnipro City Council and the district administration. Investigators found vacation photos on the phone seized from the deputy.

On the basis of the collected evidence, police investigators notified the suspect of suspicion.
