“On September 23, 2024, in cooperation with the Prosecutor General, SAP prosecutors together with NABU detectives exposed the deputy prosecutor of the Zaporizhzhia region for receiving 40,000 US dollars in illegal benefits,” the message reads.

Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin informed that the Office of the Prosecutor General provides full assistance to NABU and SAP in the detection of corruption offenses in prosecutor’s offices.
“We persistently implement the course to clean the system from corruption and prevent such cases,” he stressed.
“This work is a constant priority of our activities, including changes in internal processes in the prosecutor’s office, including strengthening of internal control,” the Prosecutor General added.
