The occupying Russian troops are carrying out assaults in the southern direction, but so far with small forces. Colonel Vladyslav Voloshyn, spokesman for the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine, told about this on Army TV.
“For about 10-15 days, our situation is approximately the same. The enemy is continuing assaults in the Vremivsk direction and is preparing to conduct assaults in the Gulyaipil and Orihiv directions,” said Vladyslav Voloshyn.
In addition, according to him, the enemy is conducting reconnaissance and search operations, small assaults in the Dnieper direction, on the Dnieper islands near Kherson.
“There is constant counter-battery fighting, the enemy is constantly launching missile and air strikes, as well as shelling with MLRS,” the spokesman added.
He noted that the weather sometimes affects the enemy’s use of drones, but the number of shelling and assaults does not decrease, remains constant.
“Mostly, assaults take place in small infantry groups, from 5 to 10 people. Military equipment is mainly used to transport these groups. But, according to our intelligence, the enemy constantly receives replenishment of buggies and motorcycles,” said Vladyslav Voloshyn.
As reported by ArmyInform, since the beginning of the day on November 26, our defenders have repelled 12 enemy attacks in the Vesely Gay, Trudove, Kostyantynopolske, Rozdolne, Novoandriivka, and Rivnopil settlements of the Vremiv direction, and one battle is ongoing.
The enemy did not conduct active operations in the Gulyaipil direction. In the Orihiv direction, the invaders actively used aviation in the areas of the settlements of Mala Tokmachka, Temyrivka and Pavlivka, dropping a total of 10 guided aerial bombs.
In the Dnieper direction, our defenders repelled two enemy attacks.
