The State Bureau of Investigation has announced the completion of the pre -trial investigation into the Chairman of the Board of the Center for Combating Corruption Vitaliy Shabunin. The State Bureau of Investigation has announced the completion of the pre -trial investigation into the Chairman of the Board of the Center for Combating Corruption Vitaliy Shabunin.

The materials are sent to court on charges of evasion and seizure of funds during the service.

According to the investigation, in 2022–2023, Shabunin, as a serviceman, allegedly used a “fictitious” business trip to the NACC, which allowed not to perform duties at the location of the unit and at the same time to receive cash.

The case also includes episodes about possible fraud when paying payments to a serviceman.

Recall that on August 13, investigators of the State Bureau of Investigation arrived at the place of the chairman of the Board of the Center of Corruption Vitaliy Shabunin in Kharkiv region.

Shabunin also accused Zelensky in his steps to “corruption authoritarianism”.
