Details: According to the investigation, the organizer of the criminal scheme was the deputy, who also owns and director of the enterprise. After learning about the planned purchases of clothing for the military in Kherson region, he decided to make money on it. He attracted a acquaintance, who he appointed the director of another controlled enterprise, as well as the accountant of this company to implement the frauds.
The persons purchased cheap, poor quality clothing without proper certificates of compliance with the requirements of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. The product was only visually similar to the military. Thus, the state was caused by more than UAH 21 million.
Currently, the deputy, his accomplice and accountant has been informed of the suspicion of seizure of another’s property through abuse of office, assembly, issuing by an official of deliberately false official documents within the organized group (Part 3 of Article 28, Part 5 of Article 191, Part 3. 28 h.
The issue of election of a preventive measure and ensuring the compensation of the damage caused to the state is resolved.
The sanctions of the incriminated articles include up to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property.
