Thanks to the negotiations in Geneva, it was possible to make changes to the plan to end the war in Ukraine, thanks to which it already reflects most of the key Ukrainian priorities.
This was announced by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Rustem Umyerov, who is at the negotiations in Geneva as part of the Ukrainian delegation.
“The current version of the document, although it is at the final stage of agreement, already reflects most of the key Ukrainian priorities. We highly appreciate the constructive interaction with the United States and their attentiveness to our comments, which allows us to move forward in the joint process. We expect further progress throughout today,” Umerov wrote in Telegram.
In Geneva, one of the main diplomatic centers of Switzerland, on November 23, consultations of the Ukrainian delegation started, which is working on agreeing on a peace plan to end the Russian-Ukrainian war.
It will be recalled that the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, said that the “peace plan” of the USA regarding Ukraine needs to be finalized and coordinated with European partners.
Marco Rubio also stated that the “peace plan” for Ukraine is based on proposals from Russia and Ukraine.
