The reason was that he was informed of the hearing date only 2.5 hours before he was in Kharkiv region.
The CPC explained that the consideration of such a petition is possible solely in the presence of the suspect.
Nevertheless, the court appointed a meeting on the day of the submission, although it was known that Shabunin was not in Kiev, because the measure of restraint obliges him to remain in the settlement in Kharkiv, where he serves.
The next hearing in the case was appointed on August 19 at 4:00 pm.
We will remind, Shabunin stated that the DBR again deceived journalists to return his equipment.
Shabunin also received an updated suspicion of the DBR and was handed over at the place of service.
