Details: The court refused to say when exactly the agreement was approved and what punishment the deputy received. The press service only noted that the hearings were held behind closed doors.

More details: On November 27, the Center for Combating Corruption reported the transfer of the agreement with Khristenko to court, citing anonymous sources in law enforcement agencies.
The “Judicial Authority” website indicated that the case was initially assigned to judges Svitlana Shaputko and Anna Grydasova, but a decision was made to dismiss them. The case was transferred to judge Oleg Solovyov. “Suspilne” tried to find out the date of the meeting, but the data about the case suddenly disappeared from the registers, and Judge Solovyov went on sick leave.
On December 3, the head of the Communist Party of Ukraine Vitaly Shabunin published a photo in which Khristenko was brought to the Pechersk court with a mask on his face. Shabunin suggested that testimony against the leadership of NABU and SAP was “squeezed out of Khristenko”, and then the agreement with him could become the basis for criminal cases against employees of anti-corruption agencies. On December 30, the Pechersk court informed “Suspilno” that the agreement with the deputy was not concluded that day.
The next day, December 4, Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko stated that “there is an agreement,” but “it cannot be made public now, as it contains data related to the suspect’s safety and national security issues.” “But I will say one thing clearly: there is no mention of the leadership of anti-corruption bodies in the agreement. It has no connection with the Midas operation,” Kravchenko said.
Hristenko’s lawyer Valery Bunyak refused to comment on the verdict of his client.
What preceded:
- In September 2025, the Security Service of Ukraine reported the detention of Khristenko. According to the case materials, the parliamentarian was an agent of the FSB of the Russian Federation for a long time, in particular, as early as 2014, he participated in the organization of pro-Russian protests in Donetsk and continued subversive activities in the interests of Russia.
