Svyridenko noted that the total amount of contributions from the countries that joined the coalition is more than 22 million euros. Of these, 11 million euros was contributed by Finland, which is the leader of the coalition thanks to its 80-year experience in creating a system of bomb shelters.

According to Svyridenko, more than 42 underground schools have already been built in the front-line regions at the expense of the state budget and previous contributions from partners.
Prehistory:
- In September, the European Commission announced an additional 40 million euros in humanitarian aid to help Ukrainians survive the fourth winter of Russia’s war of aggression.
- At the beginning of November, Lithuania made a contribution through the UNITED24 initiative, which financed the installation of shelters in three schools in Ukraine. Schools in Sumy, Zaporizhia and Zhytomyr regions received new shelters at the expense of Lithuania.
