The Verkhovna Rada has registered a Project of the Decree to apply to the Nobel Committee on the nomination of US President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize.
The document has a number 14088, but its text is currently absent on the Parliament’s website.
The idea of nominating is based on the statements of foreign leaders: Pakistan announced the intention to recommend Trump for mediation in the settlement with India, and the Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyhah reported that he had submitted his candidacy.
The White House was also stated, calling it “President of Peace.”
Recall that the President of the United States does not seek to receive the Nobel Peace Prize, but he believes that he has done enough to get this distinction.
