People’s deputy, member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine’s Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence Fedir Venislavskyi told Radio NV about this, commenting on the number of soldiers who voluntarily left part of the SDF. On the air of Radio NV, Venislavskyi admitted that the situation is difficult and reminded that in order to solve it, the Council adopted in the first reading a bill on the exemption from criminal responsibility of military personnel who went to the SZH for the first time and are returning to service.
He also noted that the figure of more than 100,000 cases of SZH, named by the ex-adviser of the Office of the President Oleksiy Arestovych, does not correspond to reality.
“I don’t know where Mr. Arestovych got such numbers from. In fact, the numbers are completely different, but this phenomenon is definitely not isolated. We are thinking about how to correct this situation,” said the People’s Deputy.
