The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Regulations supported the initiative to dismiss the People’s Deputy Petro Poroshenko from participating in parliamentary seals for half a year.
Six members of the committee voted for the appropriate decision, three abstained, and one opposed.
According to the People’s Deputy from European solidarity, Irina Gerashchenko, removal extends to the whole 13th session of the Council, which will last from February to August 2024.
Before that, a deputy from European solidarity, Volodymyr Aryev, reported that the reason for this decision was the image of Poroshenko by the People’s Deputy from the servant of the people Bohdan Yaremenko in a private conversation on January 19.
The details of the incident in the faction of European solidarity do not disclose, but it is known that on the agenda of the Committee on January 30 there was a complaint from the People’s Deputy of the servant of the people Nikita Potraev about the events that took place on January 19, 2024 in the board of meetings of the Council.
