On September 18, around 11:50 p.m., the armed forces of the Russian Federation launched a missile attack on the Shevchenkiv district of Kharkiv. Two outbuildings were completely burned. The facades of nearby multi-apartment residential buildings were damaged, windows were broken. According to preliminary data, the enemy attacked the city with three S-400 missiles.
On September 19, at approximately 4:50 a.m., Russian troops attacked Kharkiv from the air.
In the Industrial district, a school, a kindergarten and a nine-story residential building were damaged.
In the Saltiv district, the buildings of a civil enterprise, as well as the administrative premises of the subway depot, were damaged.
From the recovered debris, the law enforcement officers have previously determined that the enemy used a KAB-250 with a UMPK module for shelling.
Under the procedural leadership of the Shevchenkivska, Nemyshlyanska and Saltivska District Prosecutor’s Offices of Kharkiv, pre-trial investigations have been launched into violations of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
