According to the preliminary results of the parliamentary elections in Sri Lanka, the coalition of the country’s new president, Anur Kumar Dissanayake, dominates by a large margin. The NPP Socialist Party Coalition won 63 percent of the vote, while more than half of the ballots have already been counted.
