Head coach of Everton David Moyes spoke about the future of the Ukrainian defender Vitaly Mykolenko in the arrangement of “toffee”. The specialist said that negotiations are ongoing regarding the continuation of cooperation
“We are negotiating with Myko. They are ongoing, we do a lot behind the scenes. We do not go public and discuss them constantly, but many processes have been going on for quite some time. We hope that we will find a solution sooner rather than later,” the coach said.
The current agreement between Mykolenko and Everton runs until June 30, 2026, and from January 1, the Ukrainian has the right to freely communicate with other clubs about a potential transfer in the summer as a free agent
Mykolenko became an Everton player on January 1, 2022, transferring from Dynamo Kyiv for 23.5 million euros. In the current season, Vitaliy played 16 matches for the Toffee.
