According to the results of 2024, the Chinese Sitrak took first place in terms of the total number of cars sold in Russia. This follows from the data of the analytical agency “Avtostat”, writes The Moscow Times. In total, 102,000 cars were sold on the Russian market during the year. of new heavy-duty trucks (HCV), which is 18.8% less than a year earlier. This segment includes trucks with a gross weight of more than 16 tons. Almost a fifth part (19%) of the market fell to Sitrak (19.4 thousand units), followed by KamAZ (17.3 thousand, market share 16.91%) and three Chinese brands – Shacman (15.7 thous.), FAW (11.6 thous.) and Dongfeng (8.3 thous.).Advertisement: During the year, sales increased the most at large-tonnage truck manufacturers Dongfeng (+99.8%) and Sany (+77.4%). At the same time, the withdrawal of foreign competitors from Europe from the Russian market did not help KamAZ.
