The “Charter” brigade, the 475th assault regiment “Code 9.2” of the 92nd assault brigade, units of the Foreign Legion of the Armed Forces of the Ministry of Defense and the 144th mechanized brigade are taking part in the operation. The group made a breakthrough to the Oskil River, cutting off the enemy’s supply. “Kindrashivka, Radkivka and their surroundings and a number of quarters in the north of Kupyansk have been liberated,” the message reads.
On November 20, Chief of the Russian General Staff Valery Gerasimov reported to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin about the occupation of Kupyansk by Russian troops. Not only the Ukrainian military denied this, even pro-war Russian bloggers were skeptical of this statement.
