On April 10, the President of the European Commission of Ursula Fon Der Liaen congratulated the decision of the United States President Donald Trump to delay new customs tariffs.

Von Der Liaan stressed that duties are harming business and consumers, so it stands for the zero customs between the European Union and the United States.

“The European Union remains committed to constructive negotiations with the United States to achieve uninterrupted and mutually beneficial trade,” says the Chairman of the European Commission.

US President Donald Trump Earlier declared a 90-day pause and a “significant reduction” of mutual tariffs with 75 countries.

At the same time, he announced an immediate increase in tariffs for Chinese goods to 125%, accusing Beijing of “lack of respect” for the world markets.
