Details: It is noted that on the morning of November 10, the head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, Oleksandr Klymenko, created a commission to conduct an official investigation into a possible leak of pre-trial investigation data by NABU and SAP.

Such a decision was made by the head of the SAP on the basis of the report of one of the prosecutors of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, which provides procedural guidance in the investigation of a large-scale corruption scheme in the energy sector and a number of other cases.

It is noted that the official investigation is carried out by the internal control department of the SAP. Its conclusions can become the basis for administrative and procedural decisions.

What preceded: According to “Ukrainian Pravda” sources in the law enforcement agencies, Andrii Sinyuk, the first deputy head of the SAP, had access to high-profile cases related to large-scale corruption in the energy sector. In the absence of the manager Oleksandr Klymenko performed his duties.

• The National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office released part of the audio recordings from the investigation of a large-scale corruption scheme in the energy sector. The operation is codenamed “Midas”.
