The Ukrainian government approved a resolution simplifying the provision of consular services for Ukrainian citizens abroad.

On Friday, December 20, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution developed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs “On the implementation of an experimental project on the provision of certain public services and the execution of certain consular actions based on applications of persons who are outside Ukraine, submitted through the means of the Unified State Web Portal of Electronic Services and/or Information and Communication e-Consul system.
Thanks to these changes, Ukrainians abroad will have the following new opportunities:
– state registration of a child’s birth (issuance of a birth certificate);
– registration of the child as a citizen of Ukraine;
– entry of the child into the Unified State Demographic Register (assignment of UNZR);
– registration of the child in the State Register of Taxpayers.
From now on, applications for the provision of services can be submitted through the Diya portal or mobile application.
Previously, in the service centers of SE Dokument abroad, there was a sensational demand for re-registration of documents, apparently caused by the new draft law on mobilization.
