This was announced on Facebook by the head of the Defense Department, Rustem Umyerov.According to him, this is an important step for strengthening the maritime security of Ukraine.
In particular, the document aims to ensure the fulfillment of the tasks and goals defined by the Strategy, which was approved by the National Security and Defense Council and put into effect by presidential decree.
The main tasks of the plan are:
- strengthening the capacity of the security and defense sector of Ukraine, the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Maritime Guard of the DPSU to counter aggression and respond to other threats to maritime security
- deoccupation of the temporarily occupied territories of the coast, inland waters and continental shelf of Ukraine
- receiving compensation for losses caused by the aggressor and restoration of sea and river infrastructure damaged as a result of the war.

At the same time, according to the spokesman of the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Dmytro Pletenchuk, the Russians use helicopters for defense against drones, because they have almost the same speed, and it is easier to patrol a certain area with them than with airplanes.
