On Friday, December 20, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved two draft laws on the mandatory evacuation of the population.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
Thus, in the case of supporting the draft laws, military administrations will be able to announce mandatory evacuation from the territories of hostilities at the proposal of the military command.
At the same time, mandatory evacuation will be general or apply only to certain categories of the population. It is about the evacuation of children, elderly people or people with disabilities.
Mandatory evacuation of children can be carried out together with one of the parents, a person who replaces them or other legal representatives. Also, the evacuation will be carried out by guardianship and guardianship authorities, with the involvement of the National Police.
If parents refuse the mandatory evacuation of children, it is carried out by the National Police. At the same time, the children will be handed over to guardianship authorities.

The draft law also proposes to establish administrative responsibility for violating the requirements of martial law. In particular, responsibility is assumed for violating the rules of entry and staying in settlements where mandatory evacuation is in progress, without appropriate passes or certificates.
