The Cabinet of Ministers appointed Yulia Hnatiuk as acting head of the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance. Taras Melnychuk, the representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada, announced this in a telegram.

Last week, the government dismissed Anton Drobovych from the position of head of the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance (UINP), as his term in this position ends in December. He stated that he would not continue it, but would focus on the investigation of crimes committed by the Russian Federation against Ukrainian cultural heritage during the war.

Yuliya Hnatiuk was appointed the first deputy head of the Ukrainian National People’s Republic of Ukraine in May of this year. In 2011, she obtained a master’s degree in economics, majoring in accounting and auditing, at Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University. Since 2009, she has worked in various positions in accounting departments in a number of institutions. At the end of 2021, she joined the Ukrainian National Institute of Internal Affairs and Communications as the chief accountant of the financial, accounting and technical support department.
