The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has made a decision to increase wages for medical workers who carry out their activity at territories of active and potential fighting. On September 25, Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko announced this.

“We increase salaries for physicians who work in the territories of active and possible fighting. In particular, this applies to Nikopol, which is subjected to constant shelling by the Russians, ”the Premier said on Telegram.

Changes in the remuneration of doctors Wages for those who work in hostilities will be as follows:

• doctors – 40 000 UAH;
• average medical staff – 27 000 UAH;
• Younger medical staff – 18 000 UAH.

In potential hostilities zones, a reward for healthcare professionals will be:

• doctors – 28 000 UAH;
• average medical staff – 18 000 UAH;
• Junior medical staff – 9 000 UAH.

“It is important for us to support doctors who continue to work in extremely difficult conditions and save people’s lives every day,” Sviridenko emphasized.

Front regions of Ukraine Sviridenko recently reported that the government could view a list of frontier territories. This decision is planned to be implemented for additional benefits to residents. Currently, there are a number of initiatives aimed at supporting business in such areas. This applies to both booking and preferential loans, and production guarantees that have specificity for the frontline regions.

On September 18, the Association of City and Communities (APMG) was announced. The initiative was approved by representatives of more than 100 communities from Donetsk, Kharkiv, Lugansk, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, Odessa and Kiev regions.
