The Bugrova won the first bronze in the history of Ukraine on Badminonic US OPEN-2025

Ukrainian Badminonist Polina Bugrova became a bronze medalist by US Open 2025.

Yesterday, June 28, within the semifinals of the tournament, a 21-year-old Ukrainian met with the representative of India Tanya Sharma. The athletes staged a fierce struggle, which Pauline, unfortunately, lost in two sets with a score of 14:21, 16:21.

Despite the defeat, this result brought the bronze medal US OPEN-2025. It is worth noting that Pauline inscribed herself in the history of Ukrainian badminton, as this is the first award for Ukrainian women in this tournament.

On her way to this achievement, Pauline Bugrova overcame the other two badminontons from India. In the 1/16 finals, Schryanshi Valisheti (2: 0) was played, and at the stage 1/8 of the finals, the Ukrainian was overcome by Ira Sharma (2: 1), after which Shuo Yun Sun from Taiwan was capitulated in front of her (2: 1).
