The Ring’s Best Trainer of 2024 Robert Garcia evaluated the possible fight in the heavyweight division between Oleksandr Usyk and Deontay Wilder, calling it unsuccessful for sports intrigue.
“I believe that Usyk is the best pound-for-pound fighter. Him or Inoue, one of them. The mustache is just too good. Too talented. Everything is obvious here – this is a big mismatch for Usyk.
We haven’t seen the real Wilder in years. I would like him to fight another opponent first to prove that he can be a challenge for Usyk.
