The ex-captain of Real Madrid, Sergio Ramos, who in this century managed to win four Champions Leagues, twice won the Euro and won one World Championship, took the first place in the rating.
The second position was taken by the Dutch center back of “Liverpool” Virgil van Dijk, and the bronze of the list is held by the legend of “Milan” Alessandro Nesta.
The 2006 Ballon d’Or winner Fabio Cannavaro placed fourth, and Brazilian Roberto Carlos placed fifth.
Paolo Maldina, Ashley Cole, Carles Puyol, Marcos Cafu and John Terry also made it into the top ten.
