L’Oréal Ukraine believes that beauty is of true value only when there is care, responsibility and hope next to it. Therefore, the company cares not only about creating quality cosmetics, but also about changing people’s lives for the better. It is part of the global strategy of L’Oréal for the Future, which brings together environmental, educational and social projects around the world.

In Ukraine, L’Oréal focuses on the support of women, children and people affected by the war, cooperating with charitable foundations and humanitarian organizations.

This approach has deep roots: in the twentieth century, the company was among the first employers in France, who opened the way for women to science, management and creative professions. Today, this tradition continues through international programs.

Charity and social initiatives are not separate actions, but part of the brand DNA. After all, the future in which the beauty is good, the company is building today.

“Beauty for All” (Beauty for Better Life)

The Beauty Project is a key philanthropic initiative of the L’Oréal Foundation aimed at social and economic integration of vulnerable people, especially women, through the provision of free vocational education in the field of beauty. This reflects the deep belief of the brand that beauty has social usefulness and can serve as a powerful lever to expand opportunities.

In Ukraine, L’Oréal Ukraine launched a beauty “Beauty for All” program eight years ago. It has become of particular importance, becoming a powerful symbol of support and hope for women in difficult times. Over the years, more than 500 women have undergone free training, have acquired new professional skills in the field of beauty and have a unique opportunity to start life first.

NOT To beauty ” – Help victims of war

L’Oréal Ukraine in partnership with specialists of the Unbroken Center (UNBROKEN) in 2023 began a local initiative “NOT To beauty“, which helps women and men who have suffered from war to normalize their physical and psychological state.

Every participant in the project ”NOT To beauty“Receives the advice of qualified specialists in plastic surgery, aesthetic medicine, mental health and other doctors as needed. Depending on the consequences of physical injury, specialists choose individual treatment tactics: surgery, scattering, cosmetic procedures. Psychotherapy, where they are helped to accept themselves and their body again.

During this time, more than 50 people helped.

“Support Program of Ukraine”

The mission of L’Oréal Paris is to give women around the world strength and confidence through beauty, offering high quality, innovative and scientifically sound cosmetic products. The brand seeks to expand every woman’s capabilities by celebrating her uniqueness and diversity, and to assert her self -worth through the slogan “because I am worth it.”

On November 1, 2023, the “Support Program of Ukraine” started, which provides for grants for women businessmen who start their own business or whose business has suffered from war and require additional investment. The program is implemented by the Ukrainian team of L’Oréal Paris together with UNFPA (UN Foundation for Population in Ukraine). It is aimed at gender equality, reproductive health and development of youth potential. In two seasons, 22 women received grants totaling more than 15 million hryvnias and were able to bring their business ideas to life.

Partnership with “tablets”

The mission of La Roche-Prosay dermatological brand is to improve the quality of life of people with sensitive and problematic skin. These are effective and safe solutions developed in cooperation with dermatologists. This deep concern for health and well -being extends on the social responsibility of the brand.

That is why La Roche-Posay actively supports the BF “Tablets”. For the period from 2019 to 2024, 16.2 million UAH was allocated for treatment of more than 2,800 children. In particular, over the last 3 years (2022–2024), the brand has transferred UAH 11 million to help cancer children.

Lancusion + “your support”

The mission of the Lancôme brand is to make women happier, to give them joy, confidence and a sense of care. This philosophy is also reflected in the brand’s social initiatives, especially those who support children and their families.

On the day, since 2023, in honor of Lanc Ko Mother, Lancóme demonstrates his dedication to this idea: from the sale of each tool he transfers to the charity “Your support” 100 hryvnias. These funds are directed to vital operations for children with congenital heart defects. In three years, the brand initiative has been raised 3,000,000 UAH and to help many young patients, giving them and their families a chance for a healthy and happy life.
