The beating of a boy by teenagers: the metropolitan police started an investigation

On January 25, teenagers beat up a boy in the village of Sofiivska Borshchagivka near Kyiv. The law enforcement officers of the Kyiv region started criminal proceedings on the fact of hooliganism, provided for in part. 2 Art. 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which includes committing hooligan acts by a group of persons. The law enforcement officers of the Kyiv region started criminal proceedings on the fact of hooliganism, provided for in part. 2 Art. 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which includes committing hooligan acts by a group of persons.

According to the police, the sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of up to four years.

The identity of the victim, as well as other participants in the incident, has been established. Currently, law enforcement officers are conducting investigative and procedural actions to find out all the circumstances of the incident. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.

Earlier, one of the teenagers, who appears among other participants in the beating of a 12-year-old girl in Bila Tserkva, was informed of the suspicion of torture and extortion.
