The base of the F1 team was illegally penetrated by intruders. The investigation is ongoing

In France, an investigation is underway into a strange incident that happened at the headquarters of the Alpin team in Very-Chatillon. On Monday, November 10, around 10:00 p.m., two intruders entered the factory territory, breaking the window at the entrance, but, as it turned out, they did not take anything.

According to Le Parisien, the attackers immediately went to the administrative building on the upper floors, where they broke several doors. It seems that they were well oriented in the premises.

The prosecutor’s office of the city of Evry confirmed the fact of the investigation. The case is being investigated by the Territorial Crime Squad, but no arrests have been made so far.

Despite the break-ins, the police did not discover any material damage and did not record the facts of the theft.

A source in the team confirmed to journalists:

“Nothing was stolen. Everything is fine. There were no employees at the base at the time of the incident.”

Forensic experts have already visited the place to collect evidence and find out what exactly the attackers were looking for. According to one version, the police are considering the possibility of industrial espionage.
