This year, there is a decrease in the number of students by 200 thousand people.
This year is expected to reduce the number of comprehensive general secondary education / UNIAN collage, photos of UNIAN, UA.depositphotos.comIn the next three years, the government has forecasts the increase in the average salary of teachers in Ukraine. The corresponding figures contain the budget declaration for 2026-2028, approved by the Cabinet.
According to the document, in 2024 and 2025 the average salary of the teacher per month (without accruals of a single social contribution) is 15 thousand hryvnias.
From next year, this figure will increase and be:
- 17 thousand hryvnias – in 2026;
- 18.3 thousand hryvnias – in 2027;
- 19.6 thousand hryvnias – in 2028.
The number of students, according to the declaration, in 2024 amounted to 4.09 million people. This year, the number of students in full secondary education is expected to be reduced by 200 thousand people – up to 3.89 million. The same number of students is expected in the next three years.
Salary in Ukraine is the latest newsAccording to the budget declaration for 2026-2028, the government predicts in the next three years the increase in average salary in Ukraine. In 2026, the average salary is expected at UAH 30 240; in 2027 – 35 268 UAH; In 2028 – 39 758 UAH.
Thus, compared to the estimated average salary of 2025 in UAH 24 389, it should increase by almost a quarter next year.
The minimum wage was paid to Ukraine, according to the government, it will be: from January 1, 2026 – 8 688 UAH; from January 1, 2027 – 9 374 hryvnias; From January 1, 2028 – UAH 10,059.
