DONTNOD announced Aphelion / Photo – Dontnod EntertainmentDONTNOD announced Aphelion, a third -party cinematic adventure. The debut trailer was shown on Xbox Games Showcase, and he immediately set the tone of the atmospheric scientific and fantastic mood of the game.
The events of Aphelion are unfolding in the near future, where the land is no longer suitable for life. The main character is Ariarian Montkler’s astronaut, she finds herself on the recently open planet of Persephon after emergency landing.
Its purpose is to survive in an aggressive environment, to cope with anomalies that violate the usual laws of reality, and find a wounded partner, Thomas Cross.
The game is created in partnership with the European Space Agency (ESA). In the game of Ariana and Thomas – members of the fictional mission of Hope 01 from ESA, and, according to the creative director of the project of Florant Guyoma, the development became especially important for the studio:
“Aphelion is a game in which we put the soul. For us it is the first truly human history in space, and the opportunity to work with the European space agency makes this project unique.”
