In the Dnipro district of Kherson, as a result of Russian shelling, the power grid was damaged, as a result of which the city’s electricity supply was limited, the head of the city’s military administration, Roman Mrochko, said.

“As a result of shelling by Russian terrorists in the Dnipro district of Kherson, the power grid was damaged. The district is partially without electricity – about 22,900 metering points have been cut off,” Mrochko wrote.

The head of the MBA added that “specialists have already started emergency recovery work.”

The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles. In particular, the Russian army regularly attacks the de-occupied part of the Kherson region with attack drones.

The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.

The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes by the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful in nature.
