By the evening of January 6, 199 combat clashes were recorded on the front line. The Kursk and Pokrovsky directions remain the hottest.

This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces.

Russian troops carried out 48 airstrikes, using 57 corrected aerial bombs (CAB). They also used 837 kamikaze drones and carried out more than 4,000 artillery strikes on the positions of Ukrainian defenders and civilian infrastructure.

In the Kursk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled 44 attacks, and another 42 clashes are ongoing.

In the Pokrovsky direction, the invaders tried 40 times to break through the defenses near Myrolyubivka, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne and other settlements. Ukrainian soldiers neutralized 375 occupiers, 185 of them irreversibly. Three artillery systems, a UAV control antenna, three buggies, motorcycles and enemy cars were destroyed.

In the Kharkiv direction, three attacks were repelled in the Vovchansk region. The enemy carried out airstrikes on Orishanka, Zolochiv, and Udam, and also attacked the Graniv area with unguided missiles.

In the Kupyansk direction, Russian troops tried three times to storm the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of Synkivka, Petropavlivka, and Zagryzovo. All attacks are repelled.

In the Lyman direction, 13 attacks on Ukrainian positions were recorded in Nadia, Pervomaisky, Terni and other areas. Currently, two military clashes are ongoing.

On the Siverskyi direction, the enemy twice tried to advance in the area of ​​Bilogorivka, but was unsuccessful. The occupiers also dropped 12 aerial bombs on Siversk.

In the Kramatorsk direction, four attacks were repelled in the areas of Chasovoy Yar, Bila Hora and Stupochky.

In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine eight times near Shcherbinivka and Toretsk. There is currently one combat engagement in progress.

In the Kurakhiv direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian forces 25 times in the areas of Slovianka, Andriivka and other settlements.

In the Orykh and Prydniprovsky directions, Ukrainian troops are successfully repelling the attacks of the invaders.

The situation in other areas of the front did not undergo significant changes.

Russian troops continue to suffer significant losses, which testifies to the resilience and effectiveness of the Ukrainian defense forces.
