Details: The ambassador confirmed that the distribution of aid to Ukraine among NATO member states is uneven, and there are several leading states covering a disproportionately large share of the costs.

“The leader in contributions to PURL is Norway. The number two donor is the Netherlands, number three is Germany. There are three more countries that are very close – Canada, Sweden and Denmark,” she said.
According to Hetmanchuk, these leading states raise questions about the fair distribution of funds, and it is a problem in financing the program. However, they are ready to continue supporting Ukraine.
“These top 6 are actually the backbone of PURL financing. There are others who also made significant contributions. All these cranes understand very well: by not supporting PURL, they will punish only Ukraine – Ukrainians in the rear, who are sitting in extremely cold temperatures under terrible shelling, as well as the Ukrainian military, who must hold back the front,” the diplomat explained.
As reported, NATO states despite the problem with Greenland, they are ready to finance purchase of American weapons for the Armed Forces.
At the same time, already this week for the purchase of American weapons for the Armed Forces new countries should join.
It is also known that NATO has completely reviewed its role in helping Ukraine, and now 80% of weapons to the Armed Forces go through the Alliance.
